Grade 10 Literacy Test (OSSLT)

On March 26th, 2015 Grade 10 students across the province will write the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).   Please note that this date is the only opportunity for students to write the 2015 OSSLT. Students who are absent will have to wait until the spring of 2016 to write it.

On March 5th, we had an assembly to let the Grade 10 students know what to expect on the test and provide them with some tips to prepare.  That PowerPoint presentation along with two resources and the schedule for that day can be found below.

Spartans Athletic Association Fundraiser (Posted February 26, 2015)

The Spartans Athletic Association is a club dedicated to all Silverthorn Athletics.  We support both our intercollegiate teams  and intramural activities.  We are responsible for putting together lunch time sport activities, and providing officials for our school teams’ home games.  Our biggest function comes at the end of the year when we hold our annual athletic banquet.  This is an evening for celebrating the achievements of our athletes.  This year, in order to host the best banquet ever, we are having a fundraiser with Tasty Batters Cookie Dough.  If you would like to support us, please click the links below for more information and to place an order.
